Honored Artist of the RSFSR (September 3, 1987). People's Artist of the Russian Federation (November 22, 1999).
Graduated from the Far Eastern Institute of Arts in Vladivostok, specializing in "actor of drama theater and cinema" (course of N.I. Basin). Worked at the Irkutsk Drama Theater named after Okhlopkov (1971-1979), Omsk Academic Drama Theater (1979-2001). Since 2001 - actor of the St. Petersburg Satire Theater on Vasilievsky Island.
